Q: Are there REALTOR fees to pay?
A: No, just your plan fees.
Q: How do I hang my license as a referral agent?
A: Click the "Hang my license" button on the front page and fill out the registration form.
Q: Can I still sell Real Estate?
A: No, not as a referral agent. You can however refer yourself and earn a commission. Agents can only refer clients and earn a commission. Listing or representing buyers is not allowed. You can refer potential buyers for new construction homes directly with a builder as well.
Q: How do I receive payments
A: Once a commission payment is received, your check will be mailed to you. You will be responsible to pay all your own taxes.
Q: Do I have to do any CE requirements?
A: Yes, you must keep your DRE license active by doing the required continuing education for renewing your license.
Q: What agents can I refer my clients to?
A: Any licensed brokerage you choose providing you have a signed referral agreement.
